| Composition Dolls - "Anita" | |
![]() |
Anita is a 23" early 1950s composition doll, with a particularly pretty face. She is another pot doll, made from a hollow form of composition, and has a dark brown mohair wig, brown eyes and tiny teeth. Her lips and fingernails are red. Anita is not marked, but is very similar to Elizabeth, Shirley and Doreen. She could be one of the dolls made by F Popper, who was responsible for many composition and pot dolls. |
